Tools and Tips at the Intersection of Design, Technology and Business

In the last months we’ve shared a few effective resources around social media platforms. In this issue we highlight a couple of personal resources that we’ve found to be effective and insightful in terms of their application of technology.

The first is a great email productivity tool called Xobni. You can download the personal version at www.xobni.com. Xobni gives you fast search access for email and email strings, helps organize your information and provides profile information for emails you receive including convenient summaries and images from social media applications like facebook and Linkedin.

The other application is a personalized radio station called Pandora. This is an incredible example of how technology can be used to create a personalized experience for users. Enter the name of a song you like or an artist and you can set up a radio station that plays that music and music that is within the range of what you have selected. Check it out at www.pandora.com. Happy Listening!
