| This month’s feature project is an exciting and significant portal site we developed for Mytownnow. The site is designed for university students and the merchant community. A key feature is the unique interactive way of delivering merchant coupons to students. We designed a flash based interactive game that allows students to access coupons as well as win prizes. This not only makes this coupon delivery mechanism unique and a stand out from options available, it also delivers value in the form of coupons and prizes for the students and a compelling way for merchants to promote their businesses. Several additional applications and features have been built in it to make it the ultimate college town portal that organizes student’s primary daily activities into one exciting interactive dashboard. We carried through visual components and images which consistently tied in with the overall look of the website. | This month, we feature Snagit which gives you all the screen capture and image editing functionality you'll ever need, in one simple and powerful program. The prevailing method for using screen shots in designs, documents and presentations is to take an image of the entire screen using the Prt Sc button on the key board, then paste into Paint and crop from there. Snagit is a specialty screen capture software that enables the user to cut out this extra step of using Paint and add increased screen capture capabilities. This allows for automatically grabbing images of varying shapes as well as easily being able to add text boxes, arrows and other helpful icons. Other unique features include taking images of scrolling web pages and easy access to all your screen shots in an image library.
