| A Focus on Neocon |
| This month we are attending Neocon, the interior design industry’s largest convention, in Chicago. Azul Arc is pleased to announce winning The Best of Neocon 2009 Silver Technology Award for the Mannington Virtual Catalogue application. This industry leading, web based technology was created to make products more accessible than ever as well as have them standout from the rest by having the first impression be an impressive one. The result is a unique immersive 3D user experience created in Flash that provides the most environmentally friendly library of architectural folders. This compelling application definitely represents the future of on-line sales and marketing! We were also pleased to receive a nomination for the Mannington Tx:Style Competition, which has been previously featured for its successful use of social media and open product innovation. |

| Environmental Specifications Builder |
| We have been working towards the live launch of one of our most exciting innovations, The Environmental Specifications Builder (ESB) for Mannington Commercial. The ESB helps customers and sales teams to get specific environmental attributes for any product in their line at the click of a button. Simply by clicking a link on the product page all the important information generates in a single source rather than having to gather that information from multiple sources. The back end allows for easy dynamic linkage relationships between products and all the environmental attributes relevant to them. |

In this feature we highlight WordPress and Tumblr. Both of these websites are resources around creating your own blog or web log.
WordPress is an open source tool for producing blogs created by and for the community. The use of open source technologies, as we did for the Ultron blog, is a great way of providing value for the client by leveraging existing technologies that are available for free. With some additional efforts by our design and development team we were able to produce a cutting edge blog for the client.
