Azul Arc Moving Forward

Value is often found at intersections or crossroads…in earlier days, entire markets and townships sprung up at the crossroads of trade routes. Azul Arc was partly inspired by this idea of bringing together a unique blend of diverse design, technology and global talent. Since our inception in 2005, it is exciting to see how this has unfolded along with the collaboration and contribution of our clients and partners. Fueled with this growth of ideas, our team is excited to move to two new offices over the last couple of months. As we settle in, this is the focus of our update to you this month and we thank all our friends, partners and customers for their engagement and encouragement.

Our exciting new space is in the King Plow Arts Center in West Midtown. The King Plow building offers us an interesting, non-traditional space that is surrounded by creative firms. This historic building has been transformed from an antiquated plow factory into an arts community and center for commercial, performing and visual arts. The interior design of our new space has successfully incorporated our team’s suggestions and ideas to create a creative and inspiring space.

Our Mumbai based development center also moved into a new space this past summer. An updated office, with room to grow has given our dedicated design and development programmers the resources they need to continually deliver great products. Both new office spaces have created an atmosphere that can only be described as excitement for the future. At times like these, we look back on all the interesting projects that we have had the opportunity to work on with our clients.

Tips and Tools

Moving into a new office space comes with many tasks and responsibilities. But it is also an opportunity to incorporate some new tools. In order to keep with the design and openness of our new space we decided to try a new product called IdeaPaint from MDC Wallcoverings. IdeaPaint is a whiteboard substitute. After carefully prepping, applying and allowing to dry, the IdeaPaint allows you to write on that space of the wall and then erase it just as a dry erase board would— giving everyone in the office the same flexibility without the bulky look of a board hanging on the wall. It was difficult to wait the full week of drying time, but now we have the slick surface to help us stay organized and work collaboratively.
