How you deliver content to your field team plays a large role in the success of your organization. Million dollar projects have literally crashed and burned (sorry NASA) as a result of one small internal miscommunication. So how can you help ensure that your team stays on top of their game without them having to lug every last sales, marketing, and quality standards document around in paper form or on a clunky laptop?
This is a question we were once all too familiar with, and one that inspired us to create a mobile content delivery tool for accessing and sharing information wherever you go. We call it inSITE, and this month we would like to give you a closer look at how it has impacted other organizations for the better.
Comcast at Play
Comcast is the largest cable company in the world. With an audience that size, you can probably imagine just how much pressure is on their sales team to keep customers happy and numbers up.
By taking advantage of the curated content apps that inSITE offers, they were able to put their entire sales playbook and best practices online for all territory managers to access via mobile device — no heavy lifting required.
Jaipur on the Move
While Comcast had a field day with inSITE’s content capabilities, other companies were delving into the side of the platform designed specifically for team training and knowledge reinforcement. Jaipur Rugs adopted it as part of their launch process at High Point Market trade show, creating a content app where they could share event plans and logistics with one another over the week-long outing.
inSITE’s feedback features also allowed them to quickly quiz sales representatives at the end of each day on product highlights so that they could adapt their training the next day to emphasize areas that needed improvement (e.g. what the key products were, what most consumers were showing interest in, etc).
Jack Daly at EO Expo
Our team recently had the chance to attend the EO Atlanta Expo to showcase our services and listen in on a well-known (and quite enthusiastic) speaker named Jack Daly. He is an expert in the field of sales management, and spoke animatedly on how important a sales playbook is to the success of your team.
Do you have a sales playbook? If so, is it easily accessible or updated regularly? If the answer to any of these questions is no, then inSITE can help. Don’t be afraid to reach out to us for more information. As Jack advises, “Design your plan, practice and train that plan, and begin to “own” your market!”
